A Tale of Two Predators

Posted by admin on Friday, June 25th, 2010

I painted up two Predator tanks.  The first one I built was a basic cannon with the bolter guns. The second, I decided to go all out with the twin linked Lascannons and the side Lascannons.  They turned out pretty good in my opinion.  I took my time on both of these instead of my [...]

New AT-43 Comic

Posted by admin on Thursday, May 13th, 2010

I haven’t made one in months.  I seem to have lost my Muse for drawing all together lately.  I hope I can find my spark again and get back to it.  Come to think of it, I think I owe Privateer Press some more comics as well.  I should get on that! www.at43comic.com

Sabol Army Transport

Posted by admin on Thursday, April 29th, 2010

I picked up a couple of Sabol basic troop bags.  I am VERY impressed with the quality of this product. The price for this bag was around 60 bucks and came loaded with foam.  This foam is a very ridged high quality pluck and pull foam.  You can hold a tray in one hand and [...]

About

Hello there! My name is Tracy Constantine. I’ve been playing Miniature Games now for about 2 years. I was first introduced to mini gaming by my dog sitter when I lived in Philadelphia. She accidentally left a copy of the Tannhauser game on our table. I checked out web site on the box (Fantasy Flight Games) and from there found AT-43. I was quickly enthralled by AT-43 and then Confrontation. I purchased the Operation Damocles starter set and started drawing comics for the game (www.at43comics.com). They became somewhat popular and I began to delve further into the universe.
The problem was, I had no one to play the game with. I didn’t know too many people when I lived out there and was unfamiliar with mini gaming in general. I read the rule books, I set up the figures then put them all away and wished I could play a game or two. After about a year, I moved back to my house in California where I am surrounded by my family and friends. I found that my brother in law, Tony, was into gaming as well. I invited him over and got my first game of AT-43 in…and it was as fun as I had expected it to be!
Since then I was totally hooked on gaming! I found myself looking into other games as well. I picked up a Warmachine rule book and read it cover to cover. It had more depth to the rules then AT-43, so i picked up a Cygnar battlegroup. I never painted a miniature figure before, so they sat unpainted and un-assembled for quite some time. When I got around to painting them, I realized I was missing out on a huge aspect of the hobby. I quickly collected a rather large Cygnar and Mercenary force. I started making comics for Warmachine as well and was contracted to make some comics for Privateer Press’s No Quarter Magazine.
There is a local game store in my area with a healthy group of Warmachine and Hordes players, so I’m in luck! The problem is my schedule. I have two wonderful kids and a fantastic wife (who totally supports my gaming!). I have a full time job, with a lot of hours. Plus I run two comic sites, that take up a lot of time. I can’t make it out to the store very often to play. It’s more conveient for me to have my friends come to me to play.
That is what this site is for. I am bringing the experience of playing at a local game store to my living room (minus the stinky gamer funk). I thought I’d share my experience building terrain, setting up armies, discovering new games and setting up my own tournaments.
I hope to share some good information with you. Wither you play at home or a game store you should be able to find this site useful! Feel free to contact me with questions or comments!
